"We love this place. Been here two days in a row for the raw oysters! The oysters are shucked well and it's very good!!! I prefer the raw oysters but the chargrilled ones are a must-try! Its garlicy and cheesy and very different than the raw ones! The fried oysters are also good. The jambalaya is also good with their draft abita beers since its a bit salty and savory! Gumbo was good. Everything is just good and above average. Yes its a touristy place but i love it. Convenient spot for your oyster fix while exploring new orleans!"

"The atmosphere is so fun and the service was so fast! The oysters were good and we got them raw. I will say, I tend to prefer more briny saltier oysters and the ones we had didn't really have that pronounced of a flavor to me personally. But the price of the oysters was pretty hard to beat, as they were the cheapest ones I've ever paid for at a restaurant. Easily the most affordable experiences I had while in New Orleans!"

"Granted, I have only had the chargrilled oysters here, but let me tell you this - it was one of a kind! This was my first time having a grilled oyster, and they are incredible. They are sizzling, saturated in a buttery, garlicky sauce, and topped with cheese. The best part is the technique: you absolutely must use the French bread provided to soak up all that decadent, buttery oil that drips out and eat it. You have the option to add crab meat as an extra, which I did, but honestly, the oyster itself is so good you'll get the full flavor experience even without it. They offer bar-side seating, tables, and a shucker prep side where you can watch them work. A helpful tip is that even though the oysters don't need any additional sauces, try them with the extra options provided; you might find a variation you like even more than the classic. This is a simple, unforgettable treat."
