"We went to dine in on Saturday evening and didn’t realize it was Bayou Classic weekend. Despite how busy it was, the service and food were truly impressive. We tried the Taste of New Orleans; my wife had the Gal Pal, and I ordered The Gallier drink! Everything was really good! They have Happy hour on Monday-Friday as well it’s good deal!! And by the way, they added a 20% gratuity for the weekend which was posted on their door, and we were glad they did. They honestly deserve even more! It was a great way to show appreciation for their service. Kudos to all the hardworking staff!"
"🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Must-Taste in New Orleans! This spot is a true gem in the heart of New Orleans! Every bite was simply delicious from the fresh oysters to the beautifully curated charcuterie boxes, bursting with vibrant fruits, cheeses, and savory meats. The presentation alone is a feast for the eyes, but the flavors? Next-level. You can taste the love and local flair in every detail. Whether you’re brunching, snacking, or celebrating, this place delivers gourmet magic with Southern soul. Highly recommend!"
"Came to New Orleans for a business trip and was recommended to visit Gallier’s and we were not disappointed! Simple, casual sit down atmosphere but we were seated right away and a waiter came quickly. Food was tasty - while the salmon was slightly overcooked it was tasty, particular with the sauce. Veggies were seasoned well and complemented the fish. The salad was a good size and I appreciated that it was brought as an appetizer. The po boy was tasty per my colleague and a good size. Would return and recommend if you are looking for a moderately priced (~$20-30) entrees with a simple yet casual atmosphere off canal street."
Weekday afternoons are ideal for enjoying their happy hour and potentially avoiding peak weekend crowds.
Check out their happy hour from Monday-Friday for a good deal. If visiting during a busy weekend like Bayou Classic, be aware a gratuity might be added, but staff are highly appreciated for their service. Consider trying their charcuterie boxes for a visually appealing and delicious option.
