"Downstairs is cool. They had a very talented jazz band playing. However, our company reserved the upstairs for our party. When we went upstairs there was a trio playing music. They sounded great. The place had food laid out buffet style in the adjoining room. Both rooms had a bar. We also had access to the outside balcony over looking Bourbon St. The place was perfect! We met the owners which are some of the nicest people ever! They later showed us their other places located on Bourbon Street."

"If you’re walking around Bourbon and want to stop in for a quick drink and amazing music, this place is perfect! We arrived before the band started and got to meet the musicians and they were so kind and funny. We had a group of 8 young women and we felt super safe and relaxed. The best ambiance is in here!"

"Maison Bourbon sounds like a brand of jam you’d find in a Carrefour 45 minutes outside of Paris. But it is not. It is a jazz bar in New Orleans. The band that was playing here was good, but the singer definitely seemed like he was on some substances when he wasn’t (incredibly competently) playing the saxophone. The beers were a reasonable price, it wasn’t too busy and there was plenty of room to dance. Overall a fun experience."
