Bourbon Heat

"To start, I had around 3 hours to explore by myself and had never been to New Orleans. I found this on maps and thought the food looked too good to pass up, I didn’t go any where else. This is one of the best places I’ve been in a while. I had the Boudin Egg Rolls and the Catfish Lafayette and even knowing now it was way too much food I would order it all again in a heartbeat. The place was nice and clean and had both indoor bar and an outdoor terrace. The bar is small but a great size to be able to sit and enjoy music without having to worry about a million people crowding you. The service was amazing. The bartender Bridget, really made it enjoyable. She was helpful, very personable and real….was a nice treat. There were also several other people who stopped by and asked about the food and experience even though I was at the end of the bar. Have recommended to tons of people since I left. Will be back"

"As I was walking down Bourbon street enjoying my day, I heard this music that called to me like a siren. When I walked in to Bourbon Heat, Shelton Sonnier was killing it! It was just what I needed. I sat at the bar and Jacob was so kind and patient with everyone. Slowly the bar filled up with people who were also called in from the street. It was so cool. I love when the patrons talk to each other. I may have even almost had a third husband who has a London accent. I did, however, make a new friend. I am so glad I made this place one of my last things to do in New Orleans."

"Bourbon Heat is a gem! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is warm and attentive, and the place has such a cozy atmosphere. But what really stood out was the management team, they went above and beyond to help me sort out a misdirected package that was accidentally delivered to their address instead of my hotel. Incredible kindness from an incredible team. A must-visit in New Orleans!"
