"Loved this place! We got to see so many different insects. The best part was going to see the butterflies. They were so beautiful and one even landed on my phone while I was taking a picture. My niece captured that moment and I will definitely post it soon. Oh, and wrapped got to a chance to eat some bugs at the Bug Appetite restaurant, lol!!"
"We bought advanced online tickets for both the aquarium and insectarium for a weekday entry and arrived right at opening (10 am). The insectarium was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. My favorite part was the butterfly room. I also got to eat free chocolate chirp cookies and apples and cinnamon roasted mealworms. We spent about 5 hours at the aquarium and insectarium, including a beverage break at Cafe Aqua. They do have some extras like a hurricane simulator and VR chairs. It’s a little pricy, but all the bugs and the facts they list about them was worth the price."
"I loved everything about this insectrium. It was beyond what I expected. Learned a lot, saw a lot. The staff were great. Engaging and offered education. For a weekend visit not overly crowded. Was able to see all the insects before heading to see the butterflies. All in all this was worth the money. I bought both aquarium and insectarium and having been at a larger aquarium personally the highlight for me was the insectarium. Definitely a great visit for children and adults."
Weekday mornings right at opening tend to be the optimal time for a less crowded and more immersive experience.
