"I had my share of Irish Coffee's all around NOLA, but unsurprisingly enough, the Irish heritage Museum in the French Quarter had the best. To the surprise of both my wife and myself, there is a fully equipped bar in the courtyard, featuring an extensive array of cocktails. Ours of course was a couple of Irish Coffee's. It was a bit chilly in the Quarter that day, and they were nice enough to turn the fireplace on for us so we could enjoy our beverage outside and take in the atmosphere. Great place I cant recommend enough to learn a little bit out the Irish heritage in New Orleans, and enjoy a nice drink."
"I stopped into the small museum area while passing through, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't go further than the front room on this visit, so may have to come again. Entry was free and the walls were plastered with artifacts and publishings, mostly from the 1800's and about Irish emigration to the USA and other places. It really gives an idea of the hardest faced by those during this time."
"After a long stimulating day in The French Quarter, this Irish Cultural Museum is the PERFECT spot to sit back, relax, enjoy Irish culture and Irish coffee with or without the coffee! It's a quaint family owned and operated bar with a small yet impactful museum. Take in the images and journeys through the potato famine in Ireland which led to the flight of Irish to America. Also a great spot if you love the courtyards New Orleans is famous for."
