"Our room was very clean and so comfortable; we enjoyed the interior balcony and staff was WONDERFUL. I cannot say enough good about the staff. From our first interaction with valet, to the doormen, to the bellmen, to the check in / out staff and process we could not ask for a better experience. EVERYONE was kind and helpful and the hotel was so beautiful. I loved the location, it is central to everything in the quarter. We loved being on Bourbon St. You have the heart and culture of New Orleans at your doorsteps. This is the only place I will stay in New Orleans. 10/10 would recommend."

"We had a fantastic experience at Royal Sonesta New Orleans! The location is unbeatable — right on Bourbon Street with easy walkability to great restaurants, music, and historic sites, which made exploring the French Quarter super convenient. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and the staff was friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We loved relaxing by the pool and enjoyed the jazz and live music vibe that really captures the spirit of New Orleans. A few tips: if you prefer a quieter night’s sleep, request a room toward the interior courtyard rather than one right on Bourbon Street. Also, some onsite extras (like breakfast and valet) can add up, so plan accordingly. Overall, a memorable stay with Southern hospitality at its best — would definitely come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The location of this hotel is unmatched! It’s close to everything and the Desire restaurant and LeBooze Bar were perfect for us! Being greeted with free beverage and breakfast tickets was the cream on top! Just make sure to clarify the location/ view of your room before you book. We were told our “private balcony” room overlooked Royal street but it didn’t. It was overlooking Conti St, which wasn’t a problem, except our view was overlooking A/C units as we were on the highest floor (7th) and were not told that when we booked or when we checked in. Nonetheless, having a private balcony away from the noise on Bourbon St was a plus.The hotel also accommodated us with the taxi back to the airport (which is way cheaper than an Uber…as all taxis in NOLA have a fixed rate of $36 per ride for up to 2 people with luggage). I also want to commend (AND recommend) the following employees that made our stay amazing. I made SURE to write their names down because they went over and above in service, professionalism, and friendliness. At LeBooze: Mike and Troy (Great drinks and personality). At Desire: Chris, Ruth, KiKi, Devis, Austin, Pete, Shirley, Tricia, and Acacia (ALL of them served us with smiles/ friendliness, promptness, and attention…along with GREAT food). The GM David Bilby is also to be commended because employees are only as good as their “leader”. And lastly at the hotel: Wilbert, Ken, Wade, Cedric (sp?), and Ken (for their amazing help with anything we needed including luggage, friendliness, and laughs galore). We will definitely be back AND recommend this hotel to our friends and family. It was a perfect stay for our 20th Anniversary!"
