"A wonderful tour for those who enjoy or are interested in American bourbons and whiskeys. You're able to take a self guided tour through multiple rooms within the stunning building. The narrators along the tour are knowledgeable and well rehearsed, sharing and abundance of information in an entertaining fashion. The interactive portions and exhibits are unexpected and engaging as well. It was an added bonus to experience a small tasting of three different spirits before descending to the distillery and gift shop. There, you're able to purchase something to take home over a wide range of price points."
"A very good and interesting experience from start to finish. The visit was truly worthwhile — informative, well organized, and engaging. An amazing distillery with rich history, great storytelling, and excellent tastings. Definitely a must-visit place in New Orleans, especially if you appreciate quality spirits and craftsmanship. Highly recommended! 🥃"
"My son and I made advanced online reservations for the exclusive “meet the distiller” tour, which is an hour-long tour that includes a VIP distillery tour and a private room tasting of 4 exclusive Sazerac spirits (distiller's choice). A bonus is that you get 20% off at the gift shop afterwards. Our distiller, Mike, was well-versed in the entire process. We enjoyed learning how the distillery operated and how to sample a top-shelf spirit properly. It was well worth the cost of the tickets for the knowledge, sampling, and the experience. We arrived by ride share, so I can’t tell you about parking. The establishment is clean and organized—competitive prices on souvenirs and spirits. I highly recommend."
Visiting during weekday afternoons can often provide a more relaxed experience with fewer crowds, allowing for a deeper dive into the exhibits and tastings.
