"The Carousel Bar & Lounge is a truly fun and iconic New Orleans spot. It’s definitely worth a visit just to watch the bar spin round and round, which is exactly as wonderful as it sounds. I had the Ramos Gin Fizz, and while the bartender didn't shake it for the traditional 12 minutes as the recipe calls for, it was sooo good! He put enough effort into it that everyone around me was curious about the drink. Be prepared for a ridiculous wait time to get a seat at the carousel - there's no queue, so it's genuinely a "grab what you can" situation. Also, many classic items like the Ramos Gin Fizz have been removed from the menu, so you have to explicitly ask for it to get it. For a unique, memorable atmosphere and excellent classic cocktails, The Carousel Bar is a must-try. Just be strategic about finding your spot!"

I ordered a drink at the bar, and my server, Stephanie, was super friendly and attentive. She made the experience even better! Great service, great vibes, and amazing cocktails.
