"Oh what a wonderful world A wonderful little world housed just outside of the French quarter of New Orleans. This quiet little haven of peace serves as a public green space, equipped with sculptures, plaques and more honouring the late founder of jazz. Though I would say it’s potential has been let down by its custodians. The park has some quaint little walkways and bridges which personally I enjoyed. This included a wooden bridge over a small beck, within which turtles can be spotted. We pondered on whether the turtles are natural or placed by man. I can’t help feeling like this park isn’t lifted to its full potential, due to the abundance of scaffolding and heras fencing, and the colour of the water. This could be a truly magical place but does feel somewhat uncared for. I understand there has been discussion about whether the adjacent parking lots may be incorporated into the park at some point."

"Take a walk, soak it in. Great park with rich history. If you like photos there are multiple beautiful statues, all for a specific person or reason. Take a voodoo tour with Highpriest Robi. This was one of my favorite stops"
